It’s been a busy few days. I am grateful and humbled by the flurry of congratulatory emails and texts I have received since the election results were announced on October 24.
Thank you to the residents of Goderich for putting your trust in me and supporting me in my bid for a seat on Council for the next four years.
Thank you to my family and friends for your love, encouragement, and support throughout this campaign. A special thanks to the love of my life, my wife Laurie, who has always been my best critic, is my best friend, and my reason to succeed.
Thank you to my team of volunteers who helped by knocking on doors, installing signs, handing out flyers in our community and managing my social media campaign.
“Every person I spoke with, either at an event, walking down the street or when I was canvassing door to door, taught me something new about themselves and what was concerning to them locally. I look forward to serving the citizens of Goderich and will work together with my fellow elected Councillors to start tackling those concerns.”
As your Councillor, I know it takes more than just showing up and voting. It’s about being prepared, understanding your concerns, and bringing forward new ideas to help our community grow.
Council needs leaders who are ready to think differently, work together, and always put Goderich first. I’m proud to be one of those leaders, and I’m grateful for your support and vote in the last election.
I invite you to visit my website to learn more about me, my priorities, and how I’m committed to accountability, integrity, and transparency for our town.
My family has deep roots in Goderich, and this town has always been close to my heart. I want to give back to the community and use my business and political experience to serve the people who live and work here.
As CEO of the Brokers Association, I focused on political action and advocating for consumers. Insurance can be a tough topic, but I spent years meeting with Federal and Provincial leaders to make sure our voices were heard and understood. Through that work, I learned how to research issues, make informed decisions, and collaborate to get things done.
I ran for Goderich Council because I saw an opportunity to represent taxpayers and bring my experience to the table as a Councillor.
